Development Module
The Film Fabric Development Module manages all projects you have in development. It’s much more than a simple Script log, managing all submissions – whether they come from agents, writers or just in-house ideas. Film Fabric tracks projects as they move through various stages of development, gathering information as they progress.
Option details and Underlying Rights:
Option and Rights information can be stored in a consistent manner that everybody understands. Instead of wading through a contract to find out the terms of the next option extension, that information is a couple of clicks away. Draft and signed deal terms may be stored in Film Fabric along with all negotiation correspondence.
Writers, Scripts and Coverage:
All contracted writing steps are logged along with due dates. Email reminders are sent to you and the writer as the due date approaches. Scripts can be attached along with revision numbers and dates they were received. Readers Reports, both internal and external, may be recorded.
Attached Resources:
As the project develops, key resources such as writers, directors and cast will be considered, scripts will be sent, negotiations will take place and contracts agreed. All of this information, along with discussion notes can be logged into Film Fabric.
Email alerts and Diary:
All date sensitive information is tracked by Film Fabric and displayed in an easy to use and shared diary. Email alerts reminding you of options, hot projects, writing steps and other ad-hoc dates can be sent to internal and external users.
Financial Tracking:
Spend can be categorised and reported against development budgets per project.
Reference Data:
A centralised and customisable Reference database ensure consistency of categorisation across your projects. Other useful information such as time-zones, currencies and dialling codes take the hassle out of international communication.
