FilmIT takes the security and confidentiality of your information very seriously.
Film Fabric is developed on the industry proven, IBM Lotus Notes technology. All information logged in film Fabric is, by default, encrypted with industry leading encryption technology. If you are unfortunate enough to lose your laptop, confidential information about your projects and resources will not become available.
Our redundant servers are hosted in secure and locked cabinets at one of the leading co-lo providers. All traffic transmitted across the internet is also encrypted. Multiple backups exist in multiple locations, just in case.
Film Fabric employs a roles based security model meaning that information is available on a “needs to know” basis. A user needs READ access to look at a document, CREATE access to make a document and EDIT access to modify a document. Individual documents may be locked down even further, restricting who can view them to just one or two people if required.
